Cripley Meadow is a very large site, and can only be managed if every member of the allotment community contributes. For instance:
- Pruning the communal orchards
- Clearing and covering plots if left in a poor state by a departing member
- Burning the bonfire regularly
Members sign-up to two hours’ working party time each year although more is very welcome. Those who are unable to contribute their time may instead pay £20, but we would much rather have your time than your money!
Working Party dates are published in our Diary Dates – usually on the second Sunday of each month (other than a break in December) – meet 10:00am at the green Association Shed (on the north-west corner of the site) and usually finish at 12 noon.
Please wear suitable clothing/footwear and remember suncream and a bottle of water on hot days.
